I got a email from my friend in NZ last night..shes pregnant for a 2nd time....She has one of the cutest kids around so I'm sure the next one is bound to be just as cute. However, It sucks because shes on the other side of the world & other hemisphere as well.
I was supposed to come visit her right now, but somehow me & my not so bright head decided to stop unemployment & get a job..ACK! why did I do that. Now there is actually talk of extending unemployment benefits with some crazy tax scheme the politicians are coming up with in order to help the economy. For some reason they are telling people they will get $800 if single in order to run out & spend spend spend, so America doesn't go into a recession...SUREEEEE, people that are losing their jobs and are a little concerned about the economy, I got news they gonna save whatever money you give them. What it will end up turning into though, is about $100 or less for us "normal-folk" and somehow the rich people will get millions. So needless to say, I have no idea when I will get to go to NZ with this crazy school schedule & now working...secretly maybe they too, will lay me off. :) wishful thinking, right?
Needless to say, I have a passport & am ready to be a jet-setter. I just want to see my friend, I miss her!
