In anticipation of my class, I bought a book, One-Block wonders encore, because they didn't have the 1st One Block Wonder book at Joanns, I'll have to keep watching for it. I would have preferred the first book, but this ons is good enough for the directions, which is all I need.
I saw the above quilt & knew the fabric instantly was Kaffe Fassett Lake Blossoms, the same fabric in a different colorway as my Birdie Sling. So, I'm bent on doing that quilt BEFORE the class in march since we will be doing a different Stack & Whack pattern for the class. I already ordered the fabric on Ebay today since Fiberologie doesn't carry this colorway. I think this quilt will be for my mom for Mothers day, it will match the paint in her room & I want to make one for her.
