Returned to bad home

So who's this cute cocker spaniel? Well not my parents! They found this dog roaming the streets looking lost ready for a car grill..so they turned around opened the door & called him & he came and jumped in the car. He was a well behaved juvenile probably less than a year old with a nice kept coat & a well mannered dog. I had them call the SPCA and they ended up stopping at a vets office to have him scanned. Turned out the owner worked for Banfield, the vets out of Petsmarts, and she was out of town. Her husband had spent the night looking for him. However, she had him call us up and he was on his way to work and couldn't come until 3, fair enough, he was well bahaved and housebroken...However, 3 came & went, with no phone call. Called the wife back up and several hours later she and he called & was just getting off of work an hour away. Came to pick up the dog without even a thank you and said they had just moved into the house & he digs his way out. What a regret, they leave the dog outside all hours & let him get out & don't leave work to pick up their dog........Some people should just not be pet owners..at least not these ones. I think I may hang out in their neighborhood & coax him to dig out of his yard and into my car :o)
