Weekend wrap up..

The rest of the weekend consisted of attending a little "shindig" for a friend, Rob, who is going into the Marines & leaves later this week at the owner of Studio620's house. That was interesting in itself..I hijacked his family table since they seemed to be the most friendly & chatted up about those RAYS...Speaking of which, I am the proud owner of tix to Game 5(if it takes place)...I made a friend at work sign up for the lottery for me & he got the email, so Monday, I was able to buy tix at 9AM, which I did :o).

I made Rob shirt with the "tasty mermaid"(as said by him) print..It turned out alright, considering it was a lot more difficult than I expected...I bought too high quality of t-shirt & it didnt' shrink as much as I wanted in the dryer & was too soft...oh well, better luck next time.

I got the 2 Joel Dewberry aviary fabrics to go with the sparrows that I got in the mail today..this is my all time favorite fabric I've come across.

This one, I have no idea what I am going to do with it but I just love the colors..
This one I got to go with the one above but I've decided against that idea..it was only $4 for a yard.

I also finished the sashing on my 2nd crazy 9 patch quilt...
